Hi! My name is Laney Madsen. I was born in Darmstadt, Germany and spent about the first decade of my life living in Europe until moving to California in 2010. I have been in Allstar Cheerleading since before I can remember (most specifically: The California Allstars- Junior Mafia 2011-2013, Cali Coed 2013-2014, Cali Rangers 2017-2023). My parents also work at The California Allstars as I work with young athletes in stretching and tumbling as a private coach as well. I am in the Nfinity Legend Hall of Fame, a Summit, NCA National, and World Champion Cheerleader as well as a Former International Elite gymnast and member of the Bulgarian National Gymnastics Team. I became the first gymnast to complete all gymnastic levels after only one year. In 2015, I was invited to the Karolyi Ranch by Marta Karolyi and USAG National Staff for National Team Training Camp becoming the first gymnast at the camp to have never competed in any gymnastic competition previously, in which in 2019, I became the first person to compete in The World Championships in both Cheerleading and Gymnastics in the same year along with qualifying to other competitions such as the European Championships and the European Olympic Games and later in 2020, I moved to Texas and trained at World Champions Centre alongside Simone Biles. Over the course of my career I have had the privilege of training and learning from Olympians and Gymnasts such as Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross, Laurie Hernandez, and more. While I have been privileged enough to be given many privileges and opportunities as well as be coached by, train alongside and compete in such elite and high level athletic environments, I have also been exposed to the very negative and abusive aspects not only sports, but many other environments life can present over time. My experiences of what I have both experienced and witnessed have inspired me and led to my passion to ultimately be someone to another person that I, or a friend have needed at times.
